The Best Crockpot Recipes
Here are some of my best crockpot recipes. These easy meals include a
chicken crockpot recipe, chili slow cooker recipe, and many others!
Crockpot recipes are a great way to make easy meals. I often make
crockpot meals when I know I am going to be busy in the evening. Most
of these recipes you can just dump in the ingredients and go. The
standard cook time is 4-6 hours. Recipes that include ground beef have a
little more preparation time, because you have to brown the ground beef
before you put it into the crockpot. I hope you enjoy these crockpot recipes.
Bean Soups
Crockpot Bean Soups are cheap to make, especially if you use dry beans. When you use dry beans in the crockpot, you must first cook
them. Cooking beans is easy to do, but it is very time consuming. You
soak the beans overnight in a big pot. Then drain the water, fill the
pot with water and boil the beans for approximately one and a half
hours. After they are fully cooked you can put them in the crockpot.
If you do not want to take the time to cook dry beans, buy canned beans instead. They are still economical, but do not require the extensive cooking.
Ground beef is another ingredient that needs to be cooked before it is put into the crockpot. Always cook the beef in a frying pan before putting it into the crockpot.

Crockpot Stews
Crockpot Vegetable Stews are very easy to make. This is a dump and
leave recipe. You can either use fresh vegetables or canned. I often
make stews in the summer after an especially big garden harvest. You can
make stews in any season and enjoy the sweet aromas coming from your
kitchen.
